Meet the Team
At Quackers after school club we provide a friendly stimulating environment with lots of activities for your child/children to burn off their extra energy after school.
If your child wishes to complete their homework, our staff are willing to help them along with this.
All our staff hold a Enhanced Disclosure Closure Certificate from the Criminal Records Bureau, now known as (DBS) Disclosure & Barring Service.

We have space for up to 32 children and have staff ratios of 1:8.
Sue Heywood - Manager
My name is Sue Heywood I am the Manager at Quackers, I have over 30 years experience of working with children of all ages and have worked at Quackers since 2013. My other rolls include Safeguarding Lead, SENCO, First Aid/Medication Lead and Health & Safety Lead. I am very passionate about all my roles within the setting and adding to my training all the time, including my most recent training in Child Mental Health. I believe that every child matters and should be included in everything.
I like to promote good relationships with all of the children, parents and their families so that each and every child can have a fun and positive learning experience while attending our setting.
