Meet the Team

At Quackers after school club we provide a friendly stimulating environment with lots of activities for your child/children to burn off their extra energy after school.

If your child wishes to complete their homework, our staff are willing to help them along with this.

All our staff hold a Enhanced Disclosure Closure Certificate from the Criminal Records Bureau, now known as (DBS) Disclosure & Barring Service.

Ratio

We have space for up to 30 children and have staff ratios of 1:8 or 1:6 on outings.

Sue Heywood - Manager

My name is Sue Heywood I am the Manager at Quackers, I have over 30 years experience of working with children of all ages and have worked at Quackers since 2013. My other rolls include Safeguarding Officer, SENCO, First Aid Lead and key worker. I am very passionate about all my roles within the setting and believe that every child matters and should be included in everything.

I like to promote good relationships with all of the children, parents and their families so that each and every child can have a fun and positive learning experience while attending our setting.
