Quackers After School Club
Opening Hours
We are open from 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday. Sessions are currently £12.50 per day. There is a 10% discount for siblings if they attend the same session.
School Collection
We will collect children from Rucstall School at the end of the school day. If your child wishes to attend an After School activity at school, we can arrange for them to be collected when this ends. A letter is needed from yourselves to let us know which club and on which day your child attends an activity.
Pick Up
No child will be released to a person other than those nominated on their Pick Up Form, unless we have been given prior notice in writing. We operate a secret password system in case of emergencies so please ensure anyone collecting your child is aware of this.
If you are regularly late then please note that you will be charged £5 for every 10 minutes after the end of the session.
Clothing
At Quackers we will encourage your child to participate in all areas of play. This will include both messy and physical activities. If you wish your child to change out of their school uniform please provide a clearly labeled set of clothes.
Routine
Session times 3pm - 6pm
3pm - 3.15pm (15 minutes)
Setting up activities
3.15 - 3.30pm (15 minutes)
Staff will collect you from school
3.30 - 4pm (30 minutes)
Snack time, we encourage children to make choices from our Quackers Menu, this is also a good time for staff and children to chat.
4pm - 5.00pm (1 hour)
Free play, inside or outside depending on the weather
5pm-5.30pm planned activities chosen by the children
(30 minutes)
5.30 - 6pm (30 minutes)
Tidy up time and winding down time ready for home
Fees
Our fees are £11.00 per session. From 1st May 2023 fees will be £12.50. We also require a £10 deposit payable on acceptance of a place. This will be held until your child ceases to attend the Club and will be returned to you after all fees have been paid. From June 2019, we will offer a 10% discount for siblings as long as they attend the same sessions.
